Gorgeous Kitchen. Especially impressed by the budget. Anyone can have a beautiful kitchen when money is not an issue. But I am always in awe at the kitchens that come out "high end designer looking" at a modest price. Congratulations and enjoy.BTW Your daughter is precious!!

Thanks for your kind comments! It took months and months of planning, ordering, researching, playing around with different layouts with Ikea's kitchen software. haha. We decided to hire someone to install everything to minimize the time the kitchen is in chaos, because of our little one in the house. She's so funny, says she also wants to do "kitchen project". :-) |

What a great kitchen -with storage for mom and daughter!!! Love that red!!!! and love people who can do it on budget and have it look terrific. |
RE: Ikea Adel Birch kitchen completed!
Please don't take this the wrong way, I didn't even notice the red! Too busy looking at the gorgeous cabinets. So - a lesson here - don't let any one ever tell you red is "too much" for a kitchen. Maybe the cute lil' one distracted me abit too... |

Beautiful job! I had to laugh because we had oak cabinets, 6" tile counters & backsplash just like you, AND the exact same faucet! That faucet must have cost all of $15 18 years ago, and I didn't even care most of those years... until I found this Kitchen Forum & during my remodel the entire world of faucets opened up... thank God! Isn't it nice to treat ourselves with neat things? I got the Fusion Bordeaux antique copper. Anyway, I love what you've done with the kitchen... and I love red--my favorite color. I really love the backsplash, it's like a piece of art and so fits in your kitchen. You are lucky to have such a nice kitchen, and such an adorable daughter! Have fun with both. |
