Beautiful. I really am interested in your flooring. I am looking on the mannington site. What is the name of it?

Beautiful. I LOVE your floors. What is the name of that particular design? I can't find it on the Mannington site.

I'd also like info about your floor. Do you still like it and how's it holding up?

I really do love the laminate in the stone look. We went with the diagonal and love that look as well. The name of our particular floor is called Rose Quartz and is under the Peruvian Stones in the laminate section. WE have lots of parties and foot trafic and has held up nicely and is easy to keep clean. The only down side to the laminate is there are seams, which i am told only i ever notice. Best of all there is the look of grout without the "dirty" look of grout......LOVE THAT!!!!

Here is the link to the Rose Quartz.....

your kitchen is beautiful, what color paint is that

Thank you!!!......long story on the paint.....we were trying to go monochromatic with the paint color (carraway by behr paint). We wanted to be sure to keep in the same family but go quite a bit lighter so a friend suggested we ask home depot to take the carraway and adjust the formula to 1/4% of the original formula. The color you see is what we ended up with. After all that we ended up changing the livingroom color in carraway to yellow.....go figure!!!

We have selected the same granite Golden Juparana granite and have been having a problem picking out a tile backsplash. Your backsplash using the same granite looks beautiful ..Have you had any problems with the granite or backsplash?

No, we actually LOVE having the granite backsplash. We have had the kitchen for 4 years now and it is so easy to maintain and wipe clean. We do seal our granite 1-2 times a year so i am sure that helps. We originally wanted to go with a tile backsplash but didn't want to deal with the grout. Good luck!!!

Beautiful kitchen! In the market for new cabinets. Trying to decide custom or semi custom. How are the American Woodmark cabinets holding up? Would you do it differently?

Beautiful. I love the granite counter top and back splash. I am also thinking of doing the same thing. However, I am a little worried of the back splash thickness (1.25 inch). How thick is your counter top and back splash? Have you had any issues? since normally tiles are a 0.25 inch.
