I'm kind of nervous to post my pics since my kitchen is much more humble than many of the others I see here, but I learned so much from this forum that I feel it is owed.
Let me know if you have any other questions. As part of the remodel we took out soffits, a half wall, and old cabs that were (no joke) woodgrain printed luan. Everything except the DW was 25yo and falling to pieces. The DW was falling to pieces, too, but only 5yo! A lot of the electric had to be rewired and the plumbing external to the wall had to be replaced.
We still have to paint all the trim and have a couple of other things fixed, but we've been living with it for a couple of months now and we're quite happy! Thanks everyone!

Very lovely! I love the deep drawers--I wish I had thought of the section for the lids. It really came together nicely. Great choices. Enjoy.RE: Sancerre's kitchen with White cabs and Impala Black granite
The kitchen gives a calm feeling, good job! I also like the yellow color. I used a yellow color (lighter tone) in my kitchen, too. |

Your kitchen has such a warm, beautiful "I wanna hang out here for a while" look to it. Clever use of space, tasteful choice of materials and color. Very well done!! |

It just goes to show that you don't have to spend a 'ton' of money or have a huge kitchen for it to be so lovely and very functional. You have just so many wonderful ideas included. Love it!!! |

Nice job! Love your crown molding and your light fixture over the peninsula. I bet all the kiddos love the blackboard. Great idea! Your backsplash is really nice also. I'm sure you enjoy sipping coffee every morning in your new kitchen. |

What a great use of space. Love all the little nooks and crannies for storage. We'll be quiet about the secret jewel box. :-) The cabinets look great and the whole space looks warm and inviting. And the fact that it comes with a husband that cooks is even better. You did a great job. Enjoy your new space. |

Hi, Great Kitchen. Can you tell me the height, length and depth/width of the island/peninsula? My kitchen has a very similar layout to yours.
